Scenic Attractions in Bellvue

As a small farming community, Bellvue nestled at 5,134 feet in the northern Colorado Front Range. The town is located just northwest of Fort Collins in Pleasant Valley. Tucked between the Dakota Hogback Ridge and the foothills, the town is situated in Larimer County by the mouth of Poudre Canyon. Frank State Wildlife Area Trailhead

Have a glimpse at a large part of the Poudre River Trail that wanders through the Frank State Wildlife Area. It is an excellent place for birdwatching and has several ponds. Boyd Lake

If you’re in northern Colorado, you will find Boyd Lake State Park as a watersports haven. The lake is on the Continental Divide’s mountains and at the western-most edge of the plains at the foot of snow-capped Long’s Peak. Lory State Park

Enjoy horseback riding, picnicking, hiking, and mountain biking amid some fabulous scenery just minutes from Fort Collins and adjacent to Horsetooth Reservoir when you hit the trail at Lory State Park. The park’s 26 miles of the trails rarely exceed a 12 percent grade, from mountainous hillsides to rolling valleys. You will also find various trails great for long or short trail runs, horseback rides, mountain bike rides, and hikes.
